Chase Swatosh

Chase Swatosh grew up in Westlake Village, California, where he honed his physical talents with achievements in swimming, diving, gymnastics, and soccer, as well as classical piano. He began his dance training with tap dance at age 8, eventually finding a passion for classical ballet. After receiving scholarships to summer programs at American Ballet Theater, the Joffrey Ballet School (JBS) in NYC, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and School of American Ballet (SAB), he attended the year-round programs at JBS and then SAB. In 2010, he joined Miami City Ballet as a Company Apprentice, and rose through the ranks to Principal in 2023.

Swatosh has performed a diverse repertoire featuring works by renowned choreographers such as George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, Alexei Ratmansky, William Forsythe, Christopher Wheeldon, Justin Peck, Martha Graham, Paul Taylor, Twyla Tharp, and more. He has performed in festivals and galas internationally, including in the US, Canada, France, Germany, and Australia.
